Welcome!
I'm glad you're here.
I'm glad you're here.
"We gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do that which we think we cannot." - Eleanor Roosevelt
Life can be tough! You don't have to do this all on your own. It does not make you weak to seek support; it means that you're aware enough to recognize that we all deserve a little help sometimes. Why not take a step towards becoming the best version of you? Therapy with me will be a safe space where you will be heard, seen, and valued. My hope is that you will graduate from our work together feeling internally strong, confident in your worth as a human, and armed with new skills to manage whatever life may throw at you. I would be honored to play a role in your healing journey.
For Parents/Guardians:
Is your teenager struggling to open up about their feelings and struggles that arise in life?
Are you hoping that they can learn new skills to deal with stressors effectively with someone that they feel safe with?
Those transitional years between being a child and an adult can be stressful and difficult! It can be helpful to have a trusted adult to act as a guide during this time in life (sometimes parents/guardians are too close and there’s fear of disappointment or worrying you). I help adolescents and young adults get to a place in life where they feel comfortable in their skin; whether it is surrounding their identity, social skills, ways to cope with rocky relationships and friendships that are inconsistent, or academic anxiety. I seek to provide them with a non-judgmental space to process and express their innermost thoughts and emotions. I provide a warm and caring environment to help your teen feel understood when they often feel alone on their own island while attempting to navigate through the stormy and unpredictable seas of young adulthood. I hope to be a cheerleader in their life to celebrate their wins and to assist them through the struggles and I am excited to work in conjunction with you to help your young adult to thrive.
For Teens/Young Adults:
I promise I won’t make you talk about anything you’re not ready to talk about. I will respect where you are at and won’t judge you- I have heard many stories and nothing shocks me or scares me away. I hope I can be a safe, trusted, and caring person in your life to provide you with a confidential space to be heard. To seek out therapy does not mean you are broken or crazy. It means quite the opposite- it means that you are strong, courageous, and aware enough to know that everyone has struggles in life, and there is always room to grow and improve to be the best version of you.
